Maulidurrasul 1430H

Today was the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. (pbuh). 12 Rabiulawal is the day of the birth of the last Prophet.

As with years before, people of Brunei Darussalam gather at certain places in Brunei as a remembrance to the date. Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau also got involved today as under Jabatan Pendidikan Daerah Temburong, got together with other schools, departments of public sectors, mukims and kampongs, ABDB, police and fire service, as well as the general public, at the Padang Jubli near the Dewan Mini Belalong in Bangar.

This year’s walk is further than before, due to the completion of the road near the office of Jabatan Pengajian Islam cawangan Temburong. SRPP’09

Silver Jubilee competition

Our school had a National Day competition today, as part of the 25th Brunei National Day celebration. Pupils from Years 1, 2 and 3 are involved in the quiz activities while Years 4, 5 and 6 are involved in the drawing activities.

Year 4 pupils are required to draw and colour the Brunei national flag while Year 5 and 6 pupils were ask to draw and colour the Silver Jubilee National Day logo.

The school had hoped that with this competition, pupils and teachers would be appreciative and recognize the value of national patriotism as well as the spirit of healthy competition. SRPP’09
