On Tuesday, the 13th of July 2010 at 5-7pm and on Friday, the 16th of July 2010, the headmistress, the teachers, education officers and staff of SR Piasau-Piasau, attended cascading meetings for the school’s School Leadership Program. The program is to enable the teachers and staff of the school to instill leadership skills and mentality through various activities.
The headmistress and two education officers attended a 5-day course in UBD to expose themselves on the School Leadership Program. Through the cascading meetings, the headmistress and two education officers shared their experiences, knowledge and skills with the other teachers and staff.
Through these meetings, the teachers and staff of SR Piasau-Piasau came up with a program, aptly titled “I Speak English”. This program is aimed to expose and educate the students to speaking English on a regular basis. It is believed that through the program, students will have the neccessary tools for them to use in their daily lives and their future.
