PIBG Meeting

Assalamualaikum.

On the 16th of November, the staff of Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau held a meeting with the PIBG (Parents-Teachers Association) to discuss on various topics ranging from the upcoming Parents’ Day celebration to the upcoming school year.

The meeting was chaired by Headmistress of Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau, Cikgu Norleha bte OKM Hj Jair. The co-chairman was Cikgu Ali, Administrative Officer of Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau.

Present at the meeting were teaching staff and members of the PIBG.

Visit From The Dental Clinic

Assalamualaikum.

On the 20th of October 2010, Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau hosted a visit from nurses from the Dental Clinic.

The nurses were at the school to give the pupils their annual application of flouride varnish for their teeth. This is to reduce the risk of cavities and tooth decay forming on their teeth. The nurses applied the varnish in the school library, with the children taking turns according to their levels.

The visit was greeted by teachers of Sekolah Rendah Piasau-Piasau and were watched over by School Health and Safety Officer, Cikgu Mohd Firdaus bin Haji Mohd Aus.
